Bio

Adam joined the Aspire team in 2009. Before joining Monarch, Adam held several roles in the organization. He most recently worked at the Bay Area Regional Office as the Associate Director of College Ready Instruction, TK-12 Math. Adam served in that role for 3 years and prior to that, worked as teacher and principal for Aspire in Los Angeles. Adam worked as the founding principal at Aspire Inskeep Academy in LA for four years and was a teacher both in an out of Aspire for several years prior.

Adam is incredibly excited to start his first year as the Assistant Principal for grades 3-5 at Monarch. He brings passion and energy for high quality coaching, academic and social emotional instruction. He strongly believes in the impact that strong instruction can have on our scholars and the power to interrupt patterns of injustice and oppression in our educational system.

When not at Monarch, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. They love to travel, explore new places, hike and sports.

He looks forward to getting to know and deeply engaging with all of the stakeholders in the Monarch community.
